Mr. Andrew Keyes will contest the Toronto Danforth by-election for Prime Minister Harper's Conservative Party.

Mr. Keyes, who has deep roots in the riding having lived there for fifteen years, will be taking the Conservative message of jobs and the economy "to every voter in Toronto Danforth".

The 51 year old communications specialist believes he is well positioned to build on the recent success of the Conservative Party in the city of Toronto.

"The Conservative Party message of focusing on the economy to create jobs, has resonated with Toronto residents. The results on May 2nd showed us that. My goal during the campaign will be to take that message to every voter in Toronto Danforth. Canadians in this riding in particular, are aware of the fragile state of the global economy. They need to know there is a plan to keep this country on the right track." said Mr. Keyes.

Toronto Danforth residents go to the polls on March 19th.
